DJ DAGDag was a classically trained pianist as a child, but didn't pursue any musical ambitions until 2010. Since then, he has been writing, recording and collaborating with various other musicians, contributing to Bands including GLAD, SilverSmith and The Contacts, as well as releasing his own music under the moniker Dag Smith. In 2015, he formed The Counteracts with songwriter Simon J. Biscoe, and they regularly release both original tracks and cover versions of songs that they both admire. DJ Dag also started broadcasting in 2015, presenting a weekly show including many genres of music. However, his favourite genre has always been Progressive Rock, and he jumped at the chance in 2019 to present a show on GGR totally devoted to his favoured music.
